Loading...Limited power of attorney allows a resident of Pennsylvania to select someone else to carry out a specific monetary related task for a single instance or for a specified amount of time. Once the act has been completed or at the form’s expiration date, the document becomes void. It may also end through a revocation form, incapacity or death on behalf of the principal.
The types of financial activity that may be assigned to the agent are the same as in the durable form and is defined as ‘any monetary related action legal in the State’. Examples include picking up mail, paying bills, and the form is also commonly used to choose a property attorney to handle a real estate closing.
