The purpose of the limited power of attorney form is to grant another person, usually a close family member or a trusted professional (your “Agent”), specific monetary related powers that you wish for them to carry out on your behalf. The document allows for restricted financial capabilities that the principal must specifically identify in writing. Examples include picking up mail to handling a closing of real property for principal.
