There is an unrestricted use for the monetary power that the agent may have as long as he or she is acting for the benefit of the person being represented. Unlike the durable version, the form is no longer usable if the Principal becomes incapacitated.
- In order to make the form legal within the State, the document must be either witnessed by at least two (2) non-blood related witnesses (and cannot be health care employee related) or a notary public
- In order to cancel the document while the principal is coherent, the revocation form should be completed and distributed to all public and private institutions where the previous power of attorney document may be or was being used
