Under a financial power of attorney, a person in Minnesota may designate an individual as your Attorney-In-Fact to make all your monetary decisions and representations for you. It is important to choose someone that lives near you so they may be able to step in at a moment’s notice and best represent your financial wishes. In Minnesota, the form ends if you become divorced. As long as you remain mentally competent, you can revoke the agreement yourself by filling in the revocation form and deal out to others who have been accepting the original form.
