General Power of Attorney Virginia Form – Adobe PDF

The general power of attorney is a legal instrument that allows a person to select someone else, “Agent”, to handle all facets of their personal and business monetary actions on their behalf. This financial representative, whom the principal selects, is allowed these unrestricted powers as long as the principal is coherent. If a medical physician deems the principal mentally incapacitated, the form becomes null and void immediately.

On this specific form there is only a line for a notary public to witness the signatures. Otherwise under state law, a witness addendum may be added that would be sufficient for use.
