The North Dakota tax power of attorney form, otherwise known as ‘Form 500’, allows for a person to be able to choose someone else to handle their tax filing with the Tax Commissioner. The form needs to be completed by the principal stated the exact powers in addition to filing you would like to grant, and when it is filled in signature is all that is needed. Unlike other power of attorney documents in North Dakota, this does not need to be witnessed or notarized in order to become in effect.
